Thick, glossy, deep green leaves on sturdy stems give this peperomia the look of a tiny rubber tree, minus the size and the fuss. The baby rubber plant stores water in its fleshy leaves, so it forgives the occasional lapse in watering and stays tidy on a desk, a shelf, or a kitchen counter. It appreciates medium light and does not mind average indoor humidity. Ours are propagated in the Pollinery greenhouse from healthy stock plants and arrive compact and bushy in a 5" pot. Non-toxic to cats and dogs, it is a smart pick for shared spaces.
