Shipping, returns & our plant guarantee

Orders with a merchandise subtotal of $75 or more ship free with Standard Shipping. We ship live plants Monday through Wednesday.

We ship orders Monday through Wednesday so your plants never sit in a warehouse or a delivery truck over a weekend. Orders placed after 2:00 PM Pacific on Wednesday go out the following Monday. You'll get a tracking email the day your box leaves the greenhouse.

Standard Shipping is $8.95 and typically arrives in 3–6 business days. Express Shipping is $18.50 and arrives in 1–2 business days once your order has shipped. Orders with a merchandise subtotal of $75 or more (before tax and after discounts) qualify for free Standard Shipping. Express is always charged at its regular rate.

We ship to all 48 contiguous states and cannot currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, or PO boxes for live plants. Because a few states restrict the import of certain plants and soil, we'll flag any restricted item at checkout and remove it from your order rather than risk a rejected shipment.

Plants and weather don't always agree. If the forecast at your address dips below 34°F or climbs above 95°F during your delivery window, we'll place a hold on live-plant orders and email you with a new ship date, usually within a few days. You can also ask us to hold a box longer while you travel, and we'll keep it healthy in the greenhouse until you're ready.

Non-plant goods such as pots, planters, tools, and care supplies can be returned within 30 days of delivery if they are unused and in their original packaging. Email care@pollinery.com with your order number and we'll send a prepaid label for orders over $40; smaller returns are shipped at your cost, and we refund the purchase price to your original payment method within 5 business days of receiving the item. Live plants, seeds, and soil are not eligible for standard returns, but they are covered by our plant guarantee.

Every live plant is covered by our 30-day plant guarantee. If a plant arrives damaged, or fails within 30 days of delivery despite reasonable care, email care@pollinery.com with your order number and two or three clear photos (one of the whole plant, one of the roots or affected area, one of the packaging). We reply within 2 business days and, depending on the situation, will send a replacement or refund the plant. Please report transit damage within 3 days of delivery so we can resolve it with the carrier.
